Travelling from Luton Airport to Central London
Luton Airport is approximately 33 miles from Central London, and is located to the North West of London, just off of the M1 Motorway. Travelling to and from the airport is easy, and the various modes of transport are sign-posted for both Arrivals and Departures around the airport.
Luton Airport has connections to central London by taxi, bus, subway and train.
Train services run from Luton Parkway train station, located a 5 minute drive away from the airport. Luton Airport offers a free shuttle bus to and from the airport terminals to the train station for all passengers. Two train services offer quick connections to central London in under 30 minutes; First Capital Connect and Midland Mainline.
First Capital Connect trains run to Kings Cross Station, Blackfriars and London Bridge, and a one way journey is priced at approximately £13.00 pounds.
Midland Mainline trains have similar journey prices and also run to Kings Cross, Blackfriars and London Bridge Stations. Tickets can be bought at the stations for these services.
Buses and Coaches connect Luton Airport and London, quickly and easily. A number of buses serve the airport, with Easybus and Greenline offering bus services to Central London.
Easybus offers a bus service, direct to Victoria Station, passing Baker Street and Marble Arch, seven days a week. The service can be taken from Bus bay four from the main airport terminal and depending on the time of your journey, one way tickets can be as low as £5.00 pounds.
Green Line 757 coach service also runs to Central London with a one way journey costing just £9.50 pounds. Greenline coaches have bigger luggage storage and also air conditioning. Tickets for both services can be bought at the airport.

Hire cars and private vehicles can be parked easily at the airport, with numerous car parks available. Luton Airport is situated just 5 minutes from the M1 Motorway and Luton Parkway Station. The M1 and A1 provide direct routes to central London, and also offer access to the M25 Motorway.
